An article is a written composition, usually nonfiction, on a specific topic, forming an independent part of a publication, such as a magazine, periodical, newspaper or journal.
These articles are assigned subjects and then collected in online databases.
If you cannot find an article through the Arkansas Tech University Library databases, try our Print Magazines or Journals or our eMagazines or eJournals. You can also use InterLibrary Loan.

eBook
eBooks are printed books that have been digitized (electronic format). They can be read on your computer.
The Arkansas Tech University Library offers more than 19,000 titles in its EBSCOhost eBook collection (former NetLibrary). The complete text of eBooks can be searched.
If your search results in no hits in the Library online catalog, use InterLibrary Loan to get the book.

Electronic Journals
These are electronic versions of traditional print magazines, periodicals, newspapers or journals.
The Arkansas Tech University Electronic Journals page provides links to full-text journal articles in some of the library's online databases.
If you cannot find an article through our listing, try our Print Magazines or Journals or our databases. You can also use InterLibrary Loan.

Government Documents
Government Documents
The Arkansas Tech University Pendergraft Library is a selective depository for U.S. and Arkansas documents. These items are catalogued and shelved in the Compact Shelving on the 2nd floor of the Pendergraft Library.
Most documents can be located by using the Pendergraft Library online catalog.

Print Journals
The Arkansas Tech University Library subscribes to hundreds of weekly, biweekly, monthly... magazines and journals. The current issues can be found in the Periodical area (south-east corner of first floor).
Past issues (up to one year) can be found by tilting the shelves. Older issues are located on the 2nd floor in compact shelving.

Arkansas Gazette Index
This online index offers abstracts about major articles from the Arkansas Gazette for 1880-84 and January through June 1957. Other issues of the newspaper can be found in microfiche form.
