Carol Hanan
Electronic Resources Librarian
Carol became the Electronic Resources Librarian at Tech in August 2012. She is responsible for the procurement and management of electronic information resources purchased by Tech. She provides general reference service and serves as the liaison and provides collection development assistance for the History & Political Science, Management & Marketing and Accounting, and Economics Departments.
Carol started out as a student worker in Tech's Tomlinson Library in 1996 (B.A. History/Political Science and a M.ED in Instructional Technology) and became a staff member in 1999, just as the library was moving into the new Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center building. Carol obtained her Master of Library Science degree from Texas Woman's University, and started her career as a professional librarian at the University of Central Arkansas in 2007 as the Government Documents/Serials librarian.
She is very happy to have the opportunity to return to work at her alma mater.

By day Carol is the Electronic Resources Librarian at Tech, but at night she fights inter-galactic crime keeping America safe from aliens meaning to do us harm. She has a Master of Library Science Degree from Texas Woman's University and has trained with some of the world's leading ninja masters. Carol's previous work experience includes ocularist, circus lion tamer, bounty hunter, and designer of chic cat clothing.
In her spare time, Carol enjoys appearing in the background of television newscasts, funeral crashing, and collecting false teeth.
