Vonda is Pendergraft Library's Night Circulation Supervisor and has been at Tech for six years. She holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management from ATU and is presently an M.S. candidate at Tech, pursuing a graduate degree in emergency management homeland security. Vonda has earned certifications as a personal care aid and hospice care aid with the Arkansas Department of Health and has seven years of experience with the Health Department. In addition, she is a certified federal tax preparer and has worked in the tax preparation field since 2000.

Vonda has been active in the Russellville community, serving as a volunteer in a number of events and organizations, including the Russellville Chamber of Commerce, Russellville Advertising and Promotion Committee, Catholic Youth Organization, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Pope County Fair, Single Parent Scholarship, Chapter I Reading Committee, Dwight School, Russellville Band Booster Club, the National Guard, and many others.

In her spare time, Vonda likes sailing, camping, reading, gardening, motorcycles, and poetry, and is presently writing a book of her poems. In addition, she is member of the Oceana environmental group, and an avid genealogist.
