Bring your OneTech ID at the Circulation Desk and simply ask for an ARKLink card. You will have to fill and print a Student application (PDF icon) if not yet done. Granting of an ARKLink card depends on your current status with the Library. Note that the visited ARKLink member library will follow its own protocol for local registration.
Student cards are valid for one semester, faculty cards for one year.

Distance StudentsPDF icon
Distance Learning (DL) students, defined as any Tech student exclusively taking online classes and who live more than 25 miles from the Tech campus where registered, will receive equitable library services to that of students taking courses on campus.
Most Library resources are accessible through the Library website. A brief overview of the site is available at Help > Tutorials > Intro to the Tech Online Library Resources. Research for college writing is primarily found in the extensive collection of subscription databases that contain thousands of academic and peer-reviewed journals or in Help > Citation and Writing. Help is also available through the Ask-a-Librarian page accessible by clicking the button present in the menu on all Library web page or via Blackboard IM.
Physical items in the Library collection may be accessed by using an Interlibrary Loan request form (see Services > ILL) and using the note field to identify yourself as a DL student. The above application for services must be completed and returned before using this service. Materials not owned by Tech that are requested for Interlibrary Loan will be considered through a consultation with a librarian. DL students are encouraged to take advantage of the ARKLink program whenever possible. Contact Sherry Tinerella (479) 964-0571 or Donna Mixon (479) 968-0416 for any questions about Interlibrary Loan.
Once registered with the Library you are ready to go. If you applied for an ARKLink card it will be sent through the postal service.
