Article
An article is a written composition, usually nonfiction, on a specific topic, forming an independent part of a publication, such as a magazine, periodical, newspaper or journal.
These articles are assigned subjects and then collected in online databases.
If you cannot find an article through our databases, try our Print Magazines or Journals or our eMagazines or eJournals. You can also use InterLibrary Loan.
eBook (NetLibrary)
eBooks are printed books that have been digitized (electronic format). They can be read on your computer.
There are over 7,000 in our collection. The complete text of eBooks can be searched.
If your search results in no hits in the Online Catalog, use InterLibrary Loan to get the book.
eMag. or eJournal
eMag. are electronic versions of traditional print magazines, periodicals, newspapers or journals.
The ATU Electronic Journals page provides links to full-text journal articles in some of the library's online databases.
If you cannot find an article through our eMagazines or eJournals, try our Print Magazines or Journals or our databases. You can also use InterLibrary Loan.

Government Document
Pendergraft Library is a selective depository for U.S. and Arkansas documents. These items are catalogued and shelved in the Compact Shelving on the 2nd floor of the Library.
Most documents can be located by using the Library's online catalog.
Print Mag. or Journal
The Library subscribes to hundreds of weekly, biweekly, monthly... magazines and journals. The current issues can be found in the Periodical area (south-east corner of first floor).
Past issues (up to one year) can be found by tilting the shelves. Older issues are located on the 2nd floor in compact shelving.

ARKLink
ARKLink is an Arkansas academic library consortium. By being a member of the ATU community, you can benefit from ARKLink services.
ARKLink offers a statewide reciprocal borrowing program using the ARKLink Card, allowing students to borrow books from some 47 college and university libraries.
Tech students have borrowing priveleges at every library in the ArkLink consortia, including the University of Arkansas in Fayettville, the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and the University of Arkansas in Little Rock.
